25 Weeks Perinatal Specialist Follow Up

Posted on October 31, 2007 02:48 by Sharla
We had our follow-up appointment with the perinatal specialist's office today so they could do an ultrasound and check Teeny's growth and make sure the CP cyst had gone away (background info:  the visit where we found the CP cyst and the first perinatal specialist appointment).

All of Teeny's growth  measurements are on track for healthy development, and the cyst is long gone!  So everything looks great.  He weighed in at 2 lbs, which is right on average for this time frame.  And he was moving around a bit in the scan, and seemed to be making sure we got a good look at his feet -- he kept moving them into the picture, and at one point spread out his toes like he was doing tricks for us.  He even brought his feet up really close to his head  and seemed like he was about to put his foot in his mouth (something I do figuratively quite often, but even yoga can't get me to be nearly that flexible).

So we are all done with the specialist, and likely won't have to go back for any more visits to their office.

Here are a couple of the pictures from the scan:

Teeny's face looks more mature in this last ultrasound, our little boy is growing up!
