6 Weeks

Jackson is 6 weeks old today!  Here are his (approximate) stats:

12.5 lbs (between percentile 75 & 90)
24 " (percentile 95)

This week included a visit from Abbey & Amelia, a walk in Martha Rivers park, and the usual outings to Moms in Motion and visits with his Aunt Stephanie and Maw-Maw.  He also had his first outing without either me or Josh -- Lynn (his Grammy) picked him up and took him to Kings Mountain to visit with Maw-Maw White, Grandmother Collins, and Great Aunt Annie.  He did great!  We missed him, but were able to utilize the time to be productive.


Abbey, Amelia, & Jackson

Sleeping at night is still going well -- and seems to be getting better as time goes by.  He's now going about 6 hours before the first middle of the night feeding (he even made 7 hours one night this week!), and then usually 5 hours before the next one, which ends up being early in the morning.  He still fusses a few times (usually before the 2nd feeding of the night).

He's babbling and smiling more and more every day.  He still loves his activity mat, the dinosaurs above his changing table, and ceiling fans.

Up next week --- an overnight stay with his Grammy & Pappy.  And I have my 6-week check up with the midwife at the OB office.
