Jackson's First Easter

Posted on March 24, 2008 16:26 by Sharla

Jackson with his Easter basket -- I had wanted to take a picture with him inside the basket, but he's too big and it just looked dorky!

We celebrated Easter this year with Josh's family (we rotate years with each of our families) at his Grandmother's house along with his parents, Alan & Stephanie, his Maw Maw, and the Badgetts (his aunt, uncle, cousins).  We had a fun time having lunch and enjoying the holiday with family, and Jackson was doted on by everyone.  At one point it looked like he was a celebrity being hounded by the papparazi with so many camera flashes going off!  Of course, he should be used to it by now with all the photo sessions we have at home :)

Later in the day we headed over to Alan & Stephanie's house since her family was visiting for dinner and we wanted to give them a chance to meet Jackson.  He also visited Alan & Stephanie's neighbors so they could meet him as well.  He had fun at Auntie Steph's (even though he did spit up on your blanket......sorry about that....   :(   ......)

Here are some other pictures we snapped on Easter:

Apparently Jackson thought we were at JC Penney's portrait studio :)

The Easter outfit -- the first time he's worn shoes that weren't Robeez!

Yay for self timer on the camera! (and Amy -- I really need to remember the arm trick.....blimey....)

The juxtaposition of the two following pictures is hilarious....and very much a reality in our house!

(isn't the monogrammed bib just adorable?!  ---- many thanks to my friend Jillian and her family for that gift -- we love it!)

Four Generations on both sides of Josh's family:

Josh, Lynn, Jackson, & Grace

All the pictures are very very good. Course Jackson so cute with his very first Easter Basket, even though it is empty (ha ha).But being the big ole boy he is, he just didnt fit.. Great Pic.s of Josh and family too.

Amy

He's wearing the big boy pants now! Too cute!

I think the arm trick while holding a baby is a pretty advanced move Smile
